Who Is Jesus?
For many, Jesus is a decisive figure in History. He challenged the norms of society and the world would never be the same. You may not even realise, but many of the things you take for granted in everyday life have been shaped by Jesus’ time on Earth. Most people have a idea of who they think Jesus was, and an opinion on his importance. At this event we want to share who Jesus is to us and provide an opportunity to found out more about what we think he is really all about. We’ll discuss the answers to questions such as:
- Was Jesus really the Son of God?
- Is Jesus the way to heaven?
- Will Jesus ever return?
- Why does Jesus really matter?
Who is this for?
This event is for anyone who is interested in learning (or even just curious about) who Jesus is. You don’t have to be a Christian and you don’t have to believe in God or in Jesus. At this event, we won’t tell you that your beliefs are wrong, or try to persuade you to believe in Jesus. What we will do is discuss who Jesus is. You can decide for yourself what to do with that information, if anything.
